Supervisor's key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing testing plans, procedures, and standards to ensure the quality of data collected during the test
- Reading and interpreting data from computer screens to identify problems and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Performing tests on new wells to determine if they are structurally safe for use
- Communicating with other members of the drilling team to coordinate testing activities
- Monitoring and maintaining equipment in order to ensure that it is functioning properly during testing
- Supervising and directing activities of team members during drilling operations
- Recording data from various devices used to monitor drilling activities during a test
- Monitoring pressure gauges and recording data to ensure that drilling parameters are within safe limits
- Operating equipment such as pressure transducers and flow meters to collect data.
- Provide training for new entry level oilfield workers.
- Must have a strong work ethic
- Excellent people skills and possess the ability to organize crew and equipment in preparation for frac flowback
- Completions and workovers on various well sites
- Providing a safe work environment for all employees to conduct themselves
- Overseeing rig in and rig out of equipment
- Filling out of all applicable paperwork such a JSA’s, Hazard ID’s etc.
- Provide training for new entry level oilfield workers.
- Complying and interacting professionally with consultants / clients.
Safety Tickets: Must have H2S Alive, First Aid Level C, Confined Space and poses a valid class 5 driver’s license. Experience with programs such as Petro Class, Outlook, Excel, and Word are considered an asset
